what is a t-cushion couch?
I have a regular 3 cushion couch that has 3 seperate cushions.The cushions are longer than the arms of the couch.Is this considered a t-cushion and would a regular couch cover fit? What is a t-cushion couch?

Yes, what you have is a t-cushion. Regular seat cushions are square or rectangular, so a regular couch cover will not fit. You will need one for a t-cushion.
It’s one in which the cushion isn’t square. It has part that sticks out in front of the arm. Here’s a picture…it’s kind of hard to explain:
