use when I throw the cushion cover in the washing machine??

All the cushion and frame covers are removable and I want to dye them. How would I do this? I’ve heard about using Rit but do I put it in my washing machine????? Won’t the dye ruin our washer?

I can’t find any tags on my furniture set (green love seat, 2 seat sofa, 3 seat couch, ottoman) regarding cleaning. I bought the set used, and can’t get in contact with the original owner. The cushions have zippers that allow you to separate the covers from the soft part. Is it OK to put this in a washing machine with cold water? I assume I have to hang them to dry when they’re done…

Hi, we inherited a nice green velvet couch from the previous inhabitant of our apartment but it is covered in white dog hair and smells of hound. The cushion covers have no cleaning information on them. Is it possible to surface clean to make it nice again or do I have to take the covers off and take my chances with the washing machine or dry cleaner? Thank you!

Have a Bubble Fossilstone Sofa S#000000013, MO#M184280. Tag states Clean Code 7. Want to clean cushions. Covers can be removed as they are zippered. Can I wash these on gentle cycle in my washing machine or do they have to be dry cleaned? Description states: Uretyhane Foam, Blended Cotton Felt, Polyester Fiber. Would appreciate advice asap. Also, can the cushion covers be washed in the washing machine?

The stain is on the cushion covers (so they can be removed to be treated). I’ve already soaked it in water (to dilute it), but it’s still noticable. The material appears to be cotton-based. I’m concerned that soaking it more, or washing it in the washing machine, will cause it to shrink.

I have a light yellow sofa (not my choice!) and I’ve noticed within the 3 years that I have had it the colour is looking pretty grubby…!

The covers are like a corduroy material. I’d like to wash the covers as soon as possible!

Do you think it would be OK to put the seat covers and cushions in the washing machine? I was thinking of putting them in a light wool cycle with a soft detergent.

Sorry, I meant the matching cushion covers (which are EXACTLY the same colour)! I didn’t read over my description – doh!

They unzip off the couch, which tells me they should be able to be thrown in the washing machine.

My friend got drunk, he then then proceeded to throw up on my sofa.
I have managed to clean the cover of the cushion (using a washing machine), Though I’m not sure how to clean the cushion.
Any ideas or anecdotes?
