We really wanted to get married outside. Balboa Park in San Diego is beautiful. We do have an option that is not very attractive. That is to get married in the reception hall there that is not very intimate and not a very attractive building. Would it be stupid to just have everyone bring an umbrella and do our vows in the garden anyways? Has anyone been in a similar situation? Umbrellas can be neat in wedding pics, we have seen some.

im in school for photgraphy, but honestly most of my knowledge has come from experience and reading on my own. i have decided to begin my own business and have the funds to do it. the only problem is i have never understood the correct equpment i need to get that perfect picture. my goal in life in to someday own my own magazine but for now work for one. i want my home business to have the equipment to take those editorial and avante garde shots you see in a clothing ad. and im not talking about quipment like if i were on a beach and needed hermit crabs. im speaking of liighting units, umbrellas and flash cards. i want this equipment to be of use for indoor and outdoor shots. please help me in telling me no matter what, these are the defninate things i need. thank you.

I’m having a sweet sixteen party in a few weeks, and everything is all planned except games or activities and i could still use some ideas on other stuff if you have any good ones.

The theme: is black and white and i’m having everyone come dressed casual in that, also i’m going to have black lights and a strobe light so the white really glows. My dress is neon pink so it will glow in the black lights too and my vip girls are wearing white dresses, while the vip guys are wearing black buttondown shirts.

The venue: I rented out a building..or rather, the top of a building, there are 2 square type rooms, in one there will be dancing and a dj and the other is for the food, and then both rooms open onto a large patio type thing where there are a few tables set up with umbrellas over them and alot of open space where i guess more people could dance.

The guests: All the guests are 15-18 years old and there are about 150 of them. My parents are being amazing and not making me have chaperones .

The Decorations: The tables are covered in white/black layered table cloths, theres a projector and a big screen set up in there, but I’m at a complete loss at what to do with it :/ and of course the black & strobe lights. Also there will be black and white balloons that fall from the ceiling when i arrive and lots of black and white balloons every where else. I’m not really sure what else to do for decorating..:S

Food: So far, I’m thinking dark and whte chocolate dipped strawberries, my cake is white with black polka dots and stripes with tiny accents of neon pink, and chocolate dipped marshmellows.

My situation: Was at a golf course eating lunch on their restaurant patio when a strong gust of wind kicked up. The wind pulled one of the table umbrellas out of the table because it wasn’t secured properly , sent it through the air, and it nailed me in the head pretty hard. I went to the ER and have 10 stitches, potential 1.5 inch visible scar.

Insurance adjuster indicated they would pay all medical bills/lost work time, etc. However, he mentioned nothing about pain/suffering, only found this out through my own research. How does someone assign a value to the non-monetary components? Also, any clue where to start when asking for a settlement amount? I am in no hurry to settle. I am suppose to get stitches out today, so I want to make sure nothing else comes of this besides a scar. I have a tiny bit of jaw pain left and the laceration spot doesn’t have feeling, but I am hoping that will go away with time. Also, do I make them an offer, or let them make one to me first?Thanks!!

Other details: I am 29, currently training to be a pilot, and in great shape. The scar is located right next to my temple.

I am not looking to get rich at all, but I do believe they owe me a bit more than just medical bills for the inconvenience. They are paying the medical bills directly under the medical portion of the policy.

Hi everyone. Well heres the story, almost 2 years ago we moved into a new home. We know have a huge and beautiful backyard. We have a nice deck but we need some new furniture for it. The deck has two levels, a small lower level which is only a step down from the larger level which is the main area. Currently, on the lower deck we have our grill and a chair. I have designated this as a good area for the cooking. The larger deck area has a table with four chairs, a lounge chair and footstool and a few extra chairs and end tables. The problem is that all the furniture is crappy plastic stuff. We have had it for about 6 years and it just needs to go.
We are going to be re-painting the deck within the month so I really think new furniture would show off how great the backyard really is. We are on a budget though. So heres what I’m looking for you guys to help with:

Here It Is So Far Is It Good

The darkness outside was becoming more than just bad weather it was becoming more than the forecasters belief of a "Stormy Night". It was becoming more than anyone could handle, and the city of Gotham was in need of yet another hero one who could again save the day but not over something as petty as a storm it was because the way the thunder flashed every 4 seconds was not normal not even to the dark city of Gotham that had that gothic sense to the weather it was because the city was always in need of more than an riveting community or money it was in need of an protection because of the disgusting habit of the underworld of Gotham.

Bruce wayne was a billonaire who had made his fortune on the stock market he had a manison in Gotham and lived with his butler Alfred who had cared for Batman for many years. "Alfred I Sense the badness returning" Bruce Wayne had said while staring out of his wide glass pane windows his butler Alfred was behind him serving Bruce his night coffee in Bruce’s office, Alfred replied
"Wayne the choice is yours". Alfred then returned to the foyer of the Wayne manor. Bruce’s eyes still darted out of the large window still looking out at the terrible thunder and the shadows of people running throughout the city with newspapers and umbrellas above the heads without Bruce the city would always be in such fear and only few knew it. Bruce then took a sudden turn to a bookcase in his grand office pushed a copy of the wall street journal into the bookcase and a sudden turn was made by the bookcase into Bruce’s cave, "The Batcave" it had a much brighter sense to it than what the outside world of Gotham looked like. Bruce darted around the cave nervously asking many questions in his head before he was going to do the thing to do. Then a quick loud thud was heard by Bruce he quickly looked outside he saw a large spotlight with a bat coming out he then heard the most psychotic laugh he had heard. That was the moment Bruce knew what to do.
