Three friends and I are all professionals in Public Relations, Marketing, Image Consulting, Event Planning and Branding. Though we all work independently we usually assist on each others projects and pool our resourses. One person may be a leader on a particular project and then everyone else falls into place by giving help where it is needed. At times we all work on the same projects collectively, giving our help in whichever areas we each specialize in.

We are now coming together and forming a company which embodies each of our individual businesses yet allows us to work together and pool our resources. Would this be considered an umbrella company?

Just to clarify we all work together and we share the profits of each project. For instance, if I am the project manager of a particular assignment I would make a little more than everyone else working on that project because I was responsible for securing the job. What I mean by pooling our resources is that we each have our own seperate businesses and along with that comes having our own lists of contacts and our own skills so whenever we have something we are working on we call upon the resources of the others.

Two days ago (Friday) I was with my cousin and her 4 four friends of whom I don’t even know.
We were outside in the backyard sitting at a table/patio under an umbrella. The 4 guys/friends of my cousin were smoking marijuana & I think it was just one joint but me & my cousin weren’t smoking.

The guys were passing the joint around us (we were sharing a seat in the middle) and they were puffing and blowing smoke at us.

Now today (Sunday) randomly, I got a call from my new work ordering a drug test.

I’m very worried. Can second-hand marijuana smoke cause me to fail a drug test?

I’ve been Parkouring (if that’s how you say it) for a while now and I

need new shoes. I originally was using DC’s or Nike’s and now I’m

looking for good shoes for Parkour/Freerunning, I really need shoes

that can climb well (a.k.a good grip) and hopefully cushioned well

I want your honest opinions on this and how I can improve I started writing this story about 3 days ago and I now have about 20 pages. Just looking for some honest criticism.

I lead him passed several tall, wooden bookcases, my fingers itching to take out the red bound Mark Twain set to read. The library was one of the only places of earth that made me feel as if I were only half sane, sometimes just being here made me feel as though I were going to go mad just by staring at the books because of course, they were the closest things I had to friends. Other then Ms. Tina, the lunch lady, of course. Among my favorites were The Secret Garden and The Odyssey, but the list could go on and on forever and ever. Reading was more then a hobby of mine, it was part of my life. I loved reading and rereading a book because it was like a movie; the first time you read it you understand it, but the second time you go even deeper.
“Are we there yet,” he asked.
“Yeah, you can open your eyes now.”
We were here, my favorite place on earth. I looked at Tristan and noticed that his jaw was dropped with an expression that looked as though he were in awe. We were standing up in front of a large, brown framed window that had a velvet cushioned seat built next to it. The window had a wonderful view of the city of New York. Looking out, we could see Times Square and it’s abundance of skyscrapers with tiny, ant like windows. Everything looked so small from up there, it felt as if we were ancient Greek gods looking down on the city of Athens. There were a couple of planes flying adrift in the sky, seeming as if they were aimlessly going somewhere far away as the soft, white clouds playfully covered them. As always, there were birds in the endless blue sky in the shape of what seemed to be an arrow.
“Wow, this is… breathtaking,” Tristan whispered.
“And that’s why I love it,” Eliana smiled, “Sometimes I feel as if I could stay up here all day and not worry about a thing or deal with Sylvia, you know?”

Mine already worn out (like the cushion on the arch of the insole and the heel pad area). I’ve been looking online for a replacement insole but can’t find one that matches.

So, is there an insole that’d fit Sperrys? I don’t mean the gel ones or anything bc I hate tose; I’m talking about a soft one that’s leathery or is made by the Sperry company.

And please don’t tell me to just buy another pair because I’ve had these for a year and the shoe itself is in perfectly good condition except that the insole is getting worn out.

I am making a cushion cover which has frills all around the edges, I am not completley sure, and I really need to know how to do this. If anyone knows please answer this question! 10 Points plus A 5 star rating for any clear, cohesive answer.

A few months ago, I picked up a computer chair. It was for free, the material and everything are in perfect condition, accept that the legs at the bottom were broken. Out of 5, 2 had snapped. I’m not sure how someone managed to do that, but they are.
From Home-Depot, I bought a 2-part epoxy (The max strength i could get) to try to see if i could glue them together, it was meant to glue patio furniture. It didn’t worked.. They broke even with a little weight, and i followed the instrutions perfectly.
Both breaks are half way between the wheel and the stem of the chair.
Does anyone had any ideas where I could find either a replacement or try to mend them back together. The rest of the chair is in TOP shape, so I’d hate to just junk it.
Any idea.. Please share.

This past weekend we cleaned off our balcony and cleaned the patio furniture, etc. after the winter. We have had pigeons hanging around the balcony and the upstairs window sills, and after seeing the mess they have made on our balcony (not to mention listening to their annoying asses at 5 in the morning!), we have been looking for ways to get rid of the pigeons. However, today we looked out on the balcony and saw 2 eggs underneath our barbecue, with the start of a nest being built. We do NOT want it there – we are trying to get RID of these damn pigeons, not have them procreate on our property. What can we do? I don’t really want to get rid of the eggs (I’m not that heartless) but I will be if I have to…lol. I’m sick of these birds and their mess…any ideas as to what we should do here? Thanks in advance.
