Ok. I am not very creative so i really need help.

We will drop the egg from 10 meters.

here are the rules…

1. The package may be no larger than 25 cm on any side. This includes a parachute.

2. You may not use a pre made box or container that has not been significantly changed. Examples of pre made containers include, but are not limited to: jars milk cartons, Rubbermaid or Tupperware containers, plastic bottles, cans, egg cartons, bags of any sort, etc.

3. You may not use any commercial packaging materials such as foam, newspaper, popcorn, Styrofoam, bubble wrap, etc. If it is originally intended to be used as a packaging material or commonly used for this, it can not be used for the egg drop project. Also, if the material is generally used as a cushioning, such as batting material found in pillows, stuffed animals and quilts, it can not be used.

4. You may not use food as your container or packaging material.

5. tape of any kind is limited to 15 cm long by 2.5 cm wide

6. it can weigh no more than 1.5 kg

So my hair seems to weave itself into the most weird places.
I have REALLY long hair, and I shed it like a dog in summer sometimes, and anyway, our couch cushions have foam inside them, and I got pricked by a needle so I pulled the foam out to get the needle out of it, and found that several strands of my hair had some how gotten into the foam, sticking out and what not.. I tried to pull it out, it was in so deep that the hair broke before I got it all out!

Demonic hair, wtf? I found it woven into blankets, pillows, etc.

Anyone else come across this? Anyone know why/how this happens?

Well, as much as I appreciate the advice, I wasn’t looking for it, I just wanted to know how my hair seems to weave itself into cushions and foam and whatnot. Also, I couldn’t afford that shampoo if I wanted to. Wouldn’t be able to get the groceries I need for the week. Thanks though.

I’ve had bronchitis for a month. Now that it’s finally cleared up, what do I need to clean and sanitize?
I’ve been laying on the couch every night while sick…can my couch hold germs? It’s fabric with foam cushions…maybe a dumb question, but I want to make sure. What if I have a guest and they sleep on the couch? Could they get sick?
Do I need to wash my pillows or just the pillow cases?
Please tell me everything I need to clean so I don’t miss something and end up sick again, or get someone else sick. Thanks.
I’m ashamed to admit it, but I haven’t done much cleaning at all in this last month. I’ve kept up the dishes and taken out the garbage, but that’s about it… I honestly could not do much without becoming extremely short of breath or having a coughing fit. Bronchitis SUCKS!

I would like to learn to sew some simple projects like pillows and chair cushions and also do some mending. Is there a brand or type of machine that you can recommend? Any that should be avoided? I would also like suggestions for a good book about sewing for beginners-Thanks!

I’ve been very sick with bronchitis for almost a month. I’ve been resting a lot on the couch.
Do I need to somehow disinfect it now? It’s fabric covered with foam cushions. Can my germs stay on/in the couch and get someone else sick? Also, what about my pillows? Is washing the pillow cases enough, or do I need to wash the pillows or throw them out?
This may seem silly, but I want to do everything I can to rid my surroundings of any lingering germs. I would not wish what I’ve had on anyone.
I was going to spray the couch down with lysol/disinfectant spray, but it advised not to spray it anywhere that could come in full body contact, or contact with mucous membranes(?)…..

I was wondering as i was looking at a home decor website and the categories ave BOTH ‘pillows’ and cushions’….. i cant tell the difference . can anyone help? and please dont be rude and say something like there is no difference because aparantly there IS. thanks!=]

I need some help from anyone who has replaced the Batting on their coushions. I’ve been looking around and Micheals has two different kinds to choose from. Batting for quilting and Batting for comforters, could i use any one of these? One is flater than the other. Anyone with any experience?
Also i’m going to replace the stuffing in the pillows, i was thinking about Poly-fil.

I want to change the color. Are there any bad things about spray painting the cuhions that will touch my pillows and head–such as uneven tone (since it’s microfiber) or lingering toxic fumes?

I’ve been looking for a papasan chair that is smaller than 46 inches in diameter, but I’m not sure if that’s even possible…Does anyone have any stores/links/ideas of places to go or look at to find one? By the way, with the space I have, my preference is a chair that is actually around 33 inches in diameter.

My sister was just telling my how her 14 year old daughter (my neice) has been sleeping on her floor for the past week….
My sister is a single mom so she has her own room, and her daughter’s room is upstairs. Shes never had a problem sleeping up there before. But Jade (my neice) just went thru a rough breakup with the guy shed been dating for a year, and she was having a hard time sleeping alone.
My sister allowed it for the first few days, because she could understand that it was hard to be alone for the first nights. Jade was used to texting or talking to her bf until they fell asleep. But now its been going on a week and my sister doesnt know if she should allow her daughter to continue sleeping there…..
They have a large cushion from their papasan chair that she lays on the ground next to her moms bed, and has all her pillows so its not like its uncomfortable for Jade, and its not too big an inconvienence for my sister.
Is this too odd? When should my sister draw the line?
