So far i have a doghouse,and big patio umbrella for shade. I’ve heard that if i get a kiddie pool for my dog and fill it with water it would do better outside for a long period of time

I need to put a hole in a glass table in order to hold a patio umbrella. Any ideas how I could go about this? I have read about using a drill in order to make a hole, but I am looking how to safely expand a drill hole to two inches in this table top.
I saw an umbrella that doesn’t have the traditional pole and tilt but has a support from the side so you can adjust it to keep the sun off well. It’s a patio umbrella and looked great. Any ideas where I can get one of these? I live in the Bay Area, ca but would buy online if that’s how I can get one. I did an online search and the only thing I could find was a European style umbrella but they were super expensive. Maybe I just don’t know the name of it to search well. Thanks.
i purchased this great patio umbrella about 4 years ago from a Safeway store when i was living in california. The pole is made of a very heavy duty wood and the umbrella material is made out of canvass. The wooden ribs of the umbrella slid into small leather pockets and were secured with a screw. I have been looking to purchase one in the chicagoland area, or on-line but i can’t find any similar umbrellas. can anyone help?
I’m looking at the "Sunset Retractable Awning". Two other alternatives are: (i) build a cover made from a wooden frame; (ii) get a huge patio umbrella!

I am looking for a offset patio umbrella that is under 8′ in diameter, but I am unable to find one. Do any manufacturers make offset umbrellas under 8′ in diameter?
I want to buy a UV protected patio umbrella. The options are either a sunbrella fabric or suncrylic fabric. Sunbrella is more expensive and suncryclic is cheaper but it doesn’t say how much UV protection it offers and of course I can’t get through to customer service….anyone have experience/knowledge about this? Thanks!!
Last year our patio umbrella snapped. The plastic piece that holds the umbrella to the stand (it bears the weight of the umbrella ) broke. I am wondering if there is a glue strong enough to hold it. It also swivels, so this is a concern. Thanks in advance!
