My boyfriend and I have a cat that is a little over a year old, female, never had any problems like this until we moved in together just a month or so ago. I have a papasan chair (the big round one with the comfy round cushion that goes in the middle), and it is my absolute favorite chair.

For some reason, my cat will not stop peeing on the chair! She’s peed on it about 4 times (that we caught her), probably more than that since we aren’t home during the day. We’ve tried everything to clean it to keep her from doing it but she just finds another spot on the cushion and pees there! The papasan cushion is ruined, and now I have to get a new one. She ONLY pees there, she doesn’t pee anywhere else around the house (except her cat box). The box is always clean, and she gets plenty of attention when we are home. She’s not ignored or neglected. I don’t know if this makes a difference, but I am also 6 1/2 months pregnant. Is she maybe being defiant and acting out because of the fact that I am having a baby? Maybe she knows he is coming? Could this be the reason why she is peeing on only MY chair?

Whatever the case, I can’t keep cleaning up cat pee. I’m afraid that when the baby comes she is going to try and pee on all his things, his baby seats, clothes, etc. We’re going to end up getting rid of her if she doesn’t stop. She only pees on THAT chair. Maybe it’s marking territory but why hasn’t she marked the rest of the house? Only my chair. Someone please explain this to me? Thank you…I’m starting to get really annoyed with her…
The cat DOES NOT have a UTI. She just went for a checkup a couple weeks ago. Yes, the urine has gone straight through the padding and dripped into the floor. And I’m a first time mom so it is perfectly natural to worry about these little things. I’m not dumping my cat out in the street.

I’ve been looking for a papasan chair that is smaller than 46 inches in diameter, but I’m not sure if that’s even possible…Does anyone have any stores/links/ideas of places to go or look at to find one? By the way, with the space I have, my preference is a chair that is actually around 33 inches in diameter.

When I moved into my house, I planned to redecorate my bedroom to be really cool. The wallpaper in my room was teddy bears and stripes, because it used to be a little girl’s room. I don’t like my bedding but couldn’t find any I did like and I needed some since I had a twin sized bed before. The bedding is from Target and is white with black flowers. I have a white desk, because my old bedroom had all white furniture and the desk was new, so I didn’t want to get rid of it. I have a nightstand from TJ Maxx which is blue with hand painted flowers on it, in a faded gold color. My sister was just telling my how her 14 year old daughter (my neice) has been sleeping on her floor for the past week….
My sister is a single mom so she has her own room, and her daughter’s room is upstairs. Shes never had a problem sleeping up there before. But Jade (my neice) just went thru a rough breakup with the guy shed been dating for a year, and she was having a hard time sleeping alone.
My sister allowed it for the first few days, because she could understand that it was hard to be alone for the first nights. Jade was used to texting or talking to her bf until they fell asleep. But now its been going on a week and my sister doesnt know if she should allow her daughter to continue sleeping there…..
They have a large cushion from their papasan chair that she lays on the ground next to her moms bed, and has all her pillows so its not like its uncomfortable for Jade, and its not too big an inconvienence for my sister.
Is this too odd? When should my sister draw the line?

Then I need a little seating thing. I was thinking a papasan chair with a cream color cushion. But those aren’t really vintage looking are they? So what kind of seating thing would look kind of vintage? Also then on one wall I wanted to set up some shelves and stuff and have like a white rose thing going on there. Not real ones, just almost like a collection of a bunch of white rose type of things.

Then I need a rug! What color should it be?

And what else can I do to my room to make it look more vintage chic?

The carpet is a light tan, we have a natural colored papasan chair with a cream colored cushion, and an old hunter green chair. The room is medium to large in size and it has a big picture window. Most of the house has beige walls, so I want a little color. My husband really likes maroon, but I’m not sold on the Christmas feel the room would get between the wall color and the green chair. I like blues, but I need another choice because I’m starting to use it as a default.

Alright, I really need some help on this one!

I’m a teenage girl, and I really want to make my room a cute, vintage style room. My walls are a teal color.

My floors are wood.

I cannot change the color of my walls or flooring.

I’m looking for cute furniture that will make the room have a vintage feel. What kind would look good? As in what color, type of frame, headboard..?

For my bedding, I was thinking like a pink, would that look good?
