I have a strange foam couch that pulls out into a bed – it’s kind of the ultimate piece of furniture because it’s a sofa, it’s a bed, and it’s light as a feather. It looks like it may have come from Ikea, but I’m not sure.
The odd tweed-type fabric on the couch is shredding, so I’d like to replace it. I’m not sure how to go about it, though – I can’t get a regular slipcover because the bottom part of it needs to pull out for the bed part.

Here are the dimensions:
Whole length – 63 inches
Cushion length – 47 inches
Arm height from bottom to top – 21 inches
Height at the back – 28 inches
So it’s an unusually small couch with a pull out portion. Any ideas on how I can recover it? (and I can’t sew)
