I was walking in my garden on Olympus, after a while I returned to my temple. Coming from upstairs was the sound of a person moving around…I saw red – my husband with another woman in MY temple! but no…Zeus was down on the earth with the mortals so I creeped up my godly stairs and went into the room where the noise was coming from and they he was – Hermes

he was helping himself to my sweets (a gift from Zeus) some Drachma’s and gems. I asked him what he was doing and he turned and ran out of the window.

I ran to Zeus to tell him his brat has stolen from me, Zeus said he was busy to deal with Hermes right now and I should deal with him….aughhh men, always busy!

Hermes has upset my baby (ares) by stealing his war axe, he has stole from me, he’s now took some cattle from Apollo, stolen nail varnish from Aphrodite and now he is taking the cushions from his father’s throne and placing them on his throne – all in the space of 2 hours!

What shall I do with him, I got him a few minutes ago and he gave me his blue innocent god eyes ‘I didn’t mean it Hera, it’s in my blood to steal’
yeah right!

If I had known there was such a thing I may have never stopped going to church.
I went to my wife’s grandmother’s funeral this weekend at small Episcapal Church and the pews had cushions that must have been 3 or 4 inches thick.

I’ve always had some kind of couch with a rip in it, and I always notice human hair get stuck in the yellow foam stuff that’s inside the cushions. It doesn’t get totally stuck, but just one end, making it seem like the hair took root in the foam and is growing there. Has anybody noticed this before?

Do you think the hair can actually take root?

We have a couch with cushions that are sown on, so they can’t be removed. Unfortunately our dog peed on the couch the other day and we aren’t sure how to get it clean. We can clean the surface of course, but since we can’t just throw the cushions in the washer or something I’m not sure how to get a deep clean.
Any suggestions would be great as I really don’t want to have to throw out the couch…..

When i first bought the sofa the cushions were hard and firm. When you sat down the cushion wouldn’t go in, but now it does. Is there any way to fix this?

Okay, so I can’t find this question anywhere else on the web. I know this is a stupid question but here you go: How do you make a couch out of pillows and blankets? So bored, and my mom isn’t letting me get a couch in my room. This is what I have: Lots of stuffed animals, 2 blankets one large one small, 2 large cushions, 4 very small pillows. If you can’t think of a couch, just think of a comfortable place to use the computer and lay down. I also have a medium sized bench and a lawn chair thing.

Any negative answers, and I will report you. = )
I know stupid to put in Games and Rec. but there’s no category of boredom which there should be….

I have a large sofa bed with removable cotton covers. Can I dye them at home or is a domestic washing machine too small? I read that if your machine is too small the dye will be patchy. Obviously I’d do the bits that cover the cushions/seats separately but that would still leave me with the huge bit that covers the whole body of the sofa.
It is currently white but as I bought it second hand it’s got a few marks on it that won’t come out.

I am currently looking for a new saddle as I have stated in my other question but for the time being I have to stick with my cheap AP saddle. It is not made very well and the seat is VERY hard. So until I find the $ and the saddle I want I would like to cushion up my seat just a little bit. Saddle cushions online are to me not worth the they charge. IMO I could make one for cheap. Do you think I could? And if so what kind of materials would you use? Would something like this be an okay material to put inside of say a fleece cover?

I got two second hand sofas a couple of years ago. My staffie, who is now 12, has never torn the furniture before but has ripped the covering of the cushions on these very badly – so much so that the foam on some has now also been torn. I will have to get some more sofa’s and as they will be second hand again I wondered if anyone could shed any light on why she did this. Do you think that maybe the current sofas came from a house with a dog and she can smell it
