Dry clean or washer help?

My dog peed on our couch cushions and we were wondering if we should take it to the dry cleaners or wash them in our washers? We washed the covers already but what we were wondering about is the foam on the inside. Their made of foam and there’s cotton on the outside of them.

I am considering getting a new couch, but am not sure whether or not it is a wise investment.?

I got my couch back in 1995 for at a yard sale (it was second hand). I sit on it all the time and even sleep on it quite often. However the couch cushions are all worn and depressed. While I have a couch cover and wash it regularly, I have to use foam mattress pads to make up for the couch cushion issue. Aside from that, the couch is in pretty good working order. I have not been able to find a place to get new couch cushions or materials for them anywhere either. I am considering getting a new couch, but I don’t know if its economical seeing as a couch made nowadays probably won’t last as long and it will cost alot more money. Any ideas?

Cleaning a dirty couch?

I have a couch that has been abused, lol. I haved spilled beer, urine, etc on the couch. I have since cleaned the couch and was wondering about the drying of the couch cushions. I have let the sofa foam dry for six days now and they still feel damp. Would the foam mildew if I put the couch back together with the foam being damp? Though I must say the foam pads WERE NOT mildewed from the beer and urine. Just want to know before i put the couch together after all my hard work. Thank you

Demonic Hair?

So my hair seems to weave itself into the most weird places.
I have REALLY long hair, and I shed it like a dog in summer sometimes, and anyway, our couch cushions have foam inside them, and I got pricked by a needle so I pulled the foam out to get the needle out of it, and found that several strands of my hair had some how gotten into the foam, sticking out and what not.. I tried to pull it out, it was in so deep that the hair broke before I got it all out!

Demonic hair, wtf? I found it woven into blankets, pillows, etc.

Anyone else come across this? Anyone know why/how this happens?
Corey M said: "it sound like your hair is weak. use a deep conditioner to make you hair strong healthy and shiny. also gently massage your scalp every night. you might want to think about getting a little trim and maby thined out a little. garnier frutice shampoo and conditioner make hair realy strong also avoid excessive products , brushing and heat trust me i am in cosmotolegy school"

Well, as much as I appreciate the advice, I wasn’t looking for it, I just wanted to know how my hair seems to weave itself into cushions and foam and whatnot. Also, I couldn’t afford that shampoo if I wanted to. Wouldn’t be able to get the groceries I need for the week. Thanks though.

Is there foam at Hobby Lobby to ship food in while using cold packs.?

i need to ship some food that has to stay cool…I have some medical grade cold packs that they ship medication in and it works great for shipping food, but I’m wondering if there is a certain type of foam I can get at hobby lobby to use, instead of using styrofoam. I saw some foam, like they use in couch cushions and such at hobby lobby and I was wondering if anyone had used anything like that from there that would work to keep the coldness inside the box if I line the box with some type of foam, other than styrofoam….
thanks

How do you clean a couch after a drunk guy pees on it?

One of my friends got really drunk last night, and pee’ed on the couch when he was sleeping. My couch cushions are foam and the covers come off. I threw the covers into the washer but the foam is still soaked! Had no clue someone could release that much urine at once. It went all the way through the couch onto my wood floors. Any advice other than not ever letting a drunk guy sleep on the couch again???

What do you find in YOUR couch cushions????

What is the best way to wash couch fabric?

I can zip open the couch cushions but it seems to look like a sandwich of material. There is a thin layer of what looks like white stuffing and a 6-8 inch foam cushion between the white stuffing material. I am afraid if I wash the material it will shrink?

I need my couch cushions restuffed- where would I find someone to do that?

I have searched everything that I can think of to find someone to re stuff the foam in my couch cushions- the links that show up are just to furniture stores- I live in the Killeen Texas area anyone know where I should look- or what I should search under? Thanks
