I recently took the foot board off of my bed frame, so now the brackets are left exposed and likely to injure someone, most likely me. I was wondering if there was some sort of cover or cushion available to put on the bracket to make them less of a threat. (Right now they have house shoes over them, & it’s horribly tacky.) Thanks for any help.

im in school for photgraphy, but honestly most of my knowledge has come from experience and reading on my own. i have decided to begin my own business and have the funds to do it. the only problem is i have never understood the correct equpment i need to get that perfect picture. my goal in life in to someday own my own magazine but for now work for one. i want my home business to have the equipment to take those editorial and avante garde shots you see in a clothing ad. and im not talking about quipment like if i were on a beach and needed hermit crabs. im speaking of liighting units, umbrellas and flash cards. i want this equipment to be of use for indoor and outdoor shots. please help me in telling me no matter what, these are the defninate things i need. thank you.

I was trying to find some nice comfy heat & cool seat covers for the car. my husband drives alot & thought it’d be a nice gift for christmas.
any good ones under/around ? If there are not good ones that do both at that price, what are the best ones that just heat?

I’m in honours physics & chemistry and I thought it’d be best to combined the two classes. We are doing the egg drop project –drop an egg from a building without it breaking. I was wondering if it’s possible to stop the egg using elephant toothpaste (hydrogen peroxide, liquid soap, & sodium iodide). I could make the reaction under a tarp of some sort to increase the concentration, and thus density, so it can cushion the fall of the egg.

I’ve never felt the product so I’m not sure if it’s actually like soap suds or more dense. Please help!

Oh, and if you know of any other chemical reaction that would produce a foam/padding for the egg, it would be greatly appreciated!

I am trying to decide on my best option for new living room furniture. I am definatley getting a new coffee table and side tables and hopefully a new entertainment center.

What I’m trying to decide on is if I should get a new couch and loveseat or update my current set. I found a nice microfiber set at a local furniture store for 0 that I really like.

I’ve also talked to my husband about buying slipcovers for both pieces and just covering them up. I found loveseat and couch slipcovers at target for 0 for both.

The only problem is the back on one side of my couch has collapsed and I will need to pull open the back to see if it can be fixed and the cushions are going flat and need to be replaced.

I would love to get new couches but I don’t want to spend a lot plus with 2 kids under 5 I don’t see them staying new for long. The slipcovers are microfiber with scotchguard and machine washable. My worry is will they look good? Can I get the back fixed on my couch? And where can I go to find good foam to replace the current pieces?

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated or if you have experience with slipcovers and/or fixing furniture I would love to hear about it

This summer we brought our daughter a trampoline with net enclosure & only just today my cat has started clawing at it, shes already damaged the foam bar protectors on 3 different posts & on the foam covered cushioning around the base!! Im pretty mad because it cost a lot of money & the cat just decided today to start wrecking it!!

How can I deter the cat from clawing at it when I let her out without making her uncomfortable on her own lawn? We have a scratch post outside that shes used for the last 2 years & ive checked it today & its still in good condition so I dont think it needs replacing.

I wondered if anyone knows the worth of this metal thingy? I was told it goes on the front of the car, in the front of the engine, like on a jaguar, they have a metal jaguar on the tip of the hood…its metal, very heavy, has two pokey prongs on the back to insert into something and rubber foam to cushion it on the metal, its round, it says corvette 25 1953 anniversary 1978 it has 25 in the middle and a red flag with a chevy symbol and another symbol on it and a black and white checkered flag both crossed, how much is this worth and what is it?
