Is there anything I can apply to my patio umbrella to slow down or stop the color from fading?
I’ve had to buy a new patio umbrella every year because the color fades almost immediately. Is there something I can do to prevent this or least slow it down?

I have not tried this on an outside umbrella however I use a Krylon brand clear spray paint to protect surfaces from fading or normal wear this will also help to repel water on your umbrella. I have successfully used this as a protectant and also to prolong the life of several items including lawn furniture costume jewelry wooden items, fake flowers and personal paintings.
