i got sick and my aunt keeps blaming me?
i got a bit wet by the rain yesterday she doesnt buy me umbrellas cuz she says its a waste of money
and now i got runny nose and sore throat
and she keeps blaming me that i shouldn’t have gone to the market
and when i ask her to buy me some medicine and cook me soup cuz i cant stand
she always says that it isnt her fault that i got sick
then i ask her why she keeps on blaming me everythinggg
she says shes not blaming me
but i think shes blaming me
and
do you think this is good parenting while my mom and dad’s at the other side of the earth???
when i tell her that i dont like what she’s doing to me she gets mad and it turns to shouting all over the house
what should i do? im just 14

walking in rain does not make you sick. Germs do. Go to bed and rest for a couple of days. It is a cold, not much you can do but drink lot’s of fluids and rest

take some aspirin, eat well. and drink a lot of water and juice or eat citrus fruit, like oranges or grapefruit..

Make your own soup and tea. Buy your own medicine. It’s obvious she doesn’t care about you, and seems "Stuck" with you, because your parents are on the other side of the earth. And buy your own umbrella, regardless of what she thinks. They DO Come in handy. Get a jacket with a Hood, wear a hat. Take care of yourself. Your 14, you can do anything and more.
You can not get sick from getting wet in the rain. Colds are caused by a virus…not a temperature outside. Perhaps you touched your face after opening a door that someone who was sick had just used? But, no, you are not sick because your aunt won’t buy you an umbrella.
