Have a new sofa but the side seat cushions hang over front of the frame two inches. Is this a problem?

Center cushion is even with the frame when pushed back. Side cushion cannot be pushed all the way back because of the "L" wing in front of the sofa arm. I believe this is poor workmanship but the furniture company says no.

Patio / outdoor furniture?

I cant afford outdoor furniture…I have looked every where and its so expensive (400 and up) is there anything else I can use for patio furniture…any ideas. We live in Oklahoma and I love the warm weather. Could I use a futon..or would it rust? If I brought the mattress in at the evenings…I feel bad that my family cant enjoy sitting outside, but at the moment we just don’t have extra money for a patio set…i have even looked on craigslist and everyone that is selling theirs wants 350 and up for used stuff…any ideas at all would be helpful and please don’t be rude

Is patio furniture "un-green"…?

My friend wants to live "green," and asked me if patio furniture is made of toxic stuff or is sprayed with anything toxic to make it durable for the outdoors. She asked this because she found out that mattresses are sprayed or whatever with a chemical that is toxic to prevent fire. She was shocked and wants to know if there was anything wrong with patio furniture. Thanks!!!

We need to cat-proof it. We have several cats, all of which have their claws.
Just to clarify, I have surfed the net and found several productions. However, none of them specify that they can stand up to cat claws. I am looking for reccomendations from people that have experience with this.

Most comfortable task chair ?

I am doing medical research and I sit in my chair for at least 16 hours a day . I am looking for the highest quality and the most comfortable task chair money can buy ( cost is not an issue here).
I am looking into humanscale freedom and Herman Miller Aeron chairs.
However, I wonder if there is any similar chair out there which has TempurPedic cushion?
Does anyone have any advice for me?

Patio Furniture or anything for Sex?!?

I just saw this comedy show about a Woman who wanted to buy patio furniture for her deck. But the hubby is really stubborn and likes to pick the patio stuff of his choice. So then she gets the idea that she’ll tell him that if she gets to pick the patio funiture of his choice, then she’ll have any type of sex with him. But he’s gotta agree with the furniture he picks. Do you think this is morally right?

I just think that it’s wrong. Personally, I found the show funny, but I still think that she uses Sex as a tool of bribery. What do you guys think? Is this wrong?

Okay, I live in a apartment complex. We have lived here for two year and the past 6 moths we have used a wooden futon outside on our patio. My apartment manager has decided that this is an "eyesore" and has to be removed immediately. To my knowledge, there are 5 other people with futons as well along with regular couches and even a washer and dryer… I was wondering is a futon considered patio furniture?
