Cords to Lock / Secure patio furniture and grill?
I’m looking for a thin plastic coated wire/cord with loops on each end to lock. I want to loop it around my patio furniture b/c I live in a downtown area with a ton of foot traffic in the summer. I just have plastic Adirondack chairs but last year someone stole one and they are light weight. Yes, they are replaceable but I don’t want to have to pay a pop when a drunk person thinks it’s funny to steal a patio chair on their way back from a bar. I do not want a heavy duty chain and the cord I found at Lowes was very thick (almost 1") which is perfect for my grill but way too heavy for the chairs.
If anyone knows of an alternative cord, cheaper place to buy it, or a way to buy it and then have someone put loops on the end of it for me, that would be wonderful! Please only respond with helpful answer (and not ‘‘I’ve never lived in an urban area so I don’t know’’ response)

The hardware store (ACE, Thriftway hardware, True Value Hardware, etc.) is a great answer (from above).
Another option, if you are able to do this (may need to ask your landlord if you are a renter) would be to bolt the furniture down. It would be a cleaner looking solution as you would not have a lot of cords running around.
You’d just drill into the patio where you want to place your furniture (maybe just for the table, BBQ, chaise, or other "fixed" pieces) and then bolt them down with large bolts. You could use the cords to secure the chairs that you would like to move (and not have the hassle of tons of cabling going everywhere.)

Go to a hardware store, like a True Value or Ace. They sell plastic coated cable by the foot. You can get as much as you need, have them install crimp fasteners to make loops on each end, then lock them with a padlock. Hope this helps.
