Anybody know how to set a birds legs? We found a pigeon, its wings seem intact but it can’t walk or sit ?
straight. It is in a large pet cage under out patio umbrella and shaded by a tree, bright eyed eating and drinking, it can kind of hop from one end of the cage to the other.

Need to keep this bird warm and quite. Offer food and water. need to call a vet that can refer you to a wildlife rehabber in your area. it is free for wildlife. The vet may take it if they accept injured wildlife and some do. Can’t really tell you how to set the birds leg as we do not know for sure if it is broken and if it is where the break is. Also could have other things wrong with it. Sometimes certain diseases make birds to weak to hardly move. Get to rehabber as that is the best chance for survival for this bird.
