Any suggestions for getting cat pee out of couch cushions?
I’m currently drying the foam in the sun after dousing them with water & detergent, pet deodorizer and Febreze. I’m washing the covers as we speak, on gentle. If this doesn’t work, what would you try?

Pee, definitely. We had puddles before we figured out the cats wouldn’t use the litter box if it was near the food dish.
They haven’t done it in a long time but with the warm weather the smell is really coming out, and not in a nice way.

I think you covered all the bases. I would saturate the cushions with Lysol and Febreaze.
We had an accident where the cat locked herself in a room while we were away over night. She cleverly knocked over a potted plant and used the potting soil to do her business, but it had soaked into the carpet. It reeked. It was nasty smelling.
I washed the whole area with water and soap and used towels to dry up as much liquid as possible. I probably did that about 10 times. Wet it. Dry it up, Wet it. Dry it up. Then I finally saturated the whole area with Febreeze and Lysol. Nothing after that no smell at all.
Worst case you might have to buy / make some new cushions to fit inside the covers. But I don’t think the covers will retain the smell at all.

Cat pee or spray? If it’s spray, you can waste your money on products but it’s never going to come out.

Vinegar is good
lemon juice is good
Borax is best to get urine smell out.
I pore a heaping amount on the wet stain on carpets and the borax lifts the urine, stain, and odor all at once!!
Adding borax to the wash may just help, but I would let the washer fill up and then let it soak with borax for a while.

There is a product called ‘kids and pets’. Soak the cushions and put in front of a fan to dry. This should do the trick.
I’ve never tried anything out to test this nor have I heard any remedies, but since I’m a chemist, I’ll attempt an answer:
Cat pee is a little alkaline. That means that a weak acid would be needed to neutralize it. Since pee is a liquid, it probably seeped into the cushions pretty far. You’ll need something like vinegar to try neutralize it. However, there’s another odor altogether. Anyway, just make sure some vinegar makes its way into the cushions. See if that works.
