I’m looking for clearance or lower priced sites. Not into E-Bay, and I’ve looked at Walmart, Kmart, Lowe’s and Home Depot. I’m looking for both an outdoor dining set and a conversation area set.

sweet indoor pole vault pit in your living room out using Marshmallows for the landing pit and those cardboard tube-y things out of the middle of wrapping paper for a pole and after you tried the vault you found out that the tensile strength of cardboard tube-y things is not that awesome but the marshmallow pit is both cushion-y and delicious?? Have you ever tried that??

Hi, What would be the average for an exterminator to come in and get rid of some fleas in my house? I dogsat a friends dog who I didn’t realize had fleas and who didn’t have any flea protection on and my house got infested. I got Frontline for my poor puppies and have bathed them, but the fleas keep jumping on them and me. At first I used Borax on my rugs and vacuumed them, taking the vacuum bag outside to the trash. That didn’t work. Then I went to the vet and got a spray for upholstery (I threw out my rug at this point, it’s not worth it) and I sprayed my couches and left them for 2 hours. I took all the couch cushions out on my deck and left them on plastic chairs and brought them in one at a time to wash in warm water with Borax and detergent and I dried them in my dryer with a lemon verbena Bounce sheet (I heard something that fleas don’t like essential oils and lemon was supposedly one of them so I figured it wouldn’t hurt). I brought them in one at a time. I just got bitten by a flea a few minutes ago (which I killed) but I can’t stand it. I would have gone to an exterminator first, but the economy being what it is, money is a bit tight and I was hoping I could rectify the problem myself. I live in NY, about an hour north of NYC, and I’m looking into going to Orkin for help, but that’s not a done deal. What do you think I’m looking at spending to have an exterminator treat my house? I realize that it probably you can only estimate, but how bad is the damage? Is it in the 0+ range or more? I need to know because I have to figure out how I can swing that this month. Please, only serious responses. Thanks so much for your help.

We came home today to find our patio table shattered in pieces and the umbrella off to the side. We always leave the umbrella in the up position. Could the wind have forced the umbrella out so hard it broke the table? We were suspicious that someone may have deliberately broke it on us.

I have black colored cast iron chairs and a table.
I was wondering if there is any way to stop my outdoor furniture from rusting. The furniture is new…just bought a few months ago and it is already leaving a "ring" of rust on my deck where the umbrella stand sits. I thought there might be some type of coating or spray I could put on the umbrella base so that it does not stain my deck with rust. Does anyone know if such a spray exists? It is just watery "surface" rust, which wipes off for now….but I’d like to stop it from staining up my deck! I would think there would be something (like the clearcoat finish on a car) that could be put over the paint. Any tips?

So, for the past 4 months, my dog has been well behaved and we’ve left him out of his crate to roam the house while we’re at work. Today, out of nowhere, he decided to chew the couch, its cushions, and the throw pillows. This just came out of nowhere after not having done that before. The only thing I can think is that we didn’t leave the blinds open today, which normally gives him a nice view of the outdoors…maybe he got bored because he had nothing to look at? We leave the radio on for him daily as well, which we did do today.

He hasn’t been getting any less exercise or anything out the ordinary. I just can’t think why all of a sudden he got so bored he had to chew the house down.
Well, if a dog isn’t exercised enough, that can lead to restlessness and boredom, hence the chewing. However, he is crate trained, but we were trying to ween him out of it since we’d like to just be able to leave him out.

He is 2 years old. Neutered male. No other behavioral issues.

I know that there are a lot of options out there, but on the website, there is only a solid black cushion.

They can’t have anything soft like cushions because they would rip them up. Any suggestions? Preferably cheap
They can’t have straw because they get it everywhere and i end up having to clean it about 3 times a day and then my mum has a rant at me because my dogs are leaving a mess everywhere and they can’t have cushions because they would rip them up. Any suggestions?
